I Mirage was born into a lively, close-knit family. As the second youngest Tuazon sibling, she grew up surrounded by strong personalities that both inspired and challenged her. She spent her early years drawing on the walls of their home, tinkering with things she wasn’t supposed to touch, and playing pranks that had her family alternating between laughter and exasperation.
I By the time Mirage hit high school, the rebel in her was in full swing. She was known for being the girl who could have a good time and leave it at that. She was “all about living in the moment” is what she would (and still does) say. At the same time, she also discovered her love for music, where she started earning as an underground DJ.
I In 2021, she made her first trip to Tokyo, a city that she believed shared the same energy she carried within herself. It was there that she met Isadora, a vintner and filmmaker with an eccentric and nurturing energy. Taking Mirage under her wing, Isadora introduced her to the art of visual storytelling, teaching her how to find beauty in the mundane and emotion in the everyday. She also taught her the art of winemaking. The city held a lot of memories for the girl, all captured in her film camera, that she didn't know would soon change her life.
I Studying Film at UP Diliman, she did what most students did—balanced her grades, while playing for the UP Fighting Maroons women's volleyball team. Howeverm she could never let go of the occasional night outs. In true Mirage fashion, her nightlife had its own pace. She was the girl who would finish an assignment at 3 AM, sneak out an hour later, and be back just in time for her morning class. Despite the chaos, she managed to keep her grades steady, thanks to her ability to work under pressure.
I Just a few months before her graduation, Mirage’s world was shaken when Isadora passed away. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from UP Diliman in July 2023 and immediately flew to Tokyo afterward to honor Isadora’s memory by working on one of her unfinished film projects, now overseen by Isadora’s closest collaborators.

I Early in 2024, Mirage took a gap year after graduation to explore the world and think about her next steps. During this time, she began conceptualizing short films, experimenting with visual storytelling that explored various themes. Inspired by her travels and exposure to various cultures, she decided to pursue a career in law. By March 2024, she had enrolled as a first-year law student at UP Diliman. While adjusting to her new academic life, Mirage remained active in her passions. Her competitive spirit thrived as a Creamline Cool Smashers opposite hitter, sporting jersey #14.
I Despite the intensity of law school, she found time to work on short film projects during her breaks. Film became her creative outlet, letting her explore new ideas and keep a part of her artistic side alive. As she moves forward, she dreams of using her legal knowledge and artistic voice to advocate for marginalized communities and bring untold stories to life on screen.

4 Isadora Constance Lee Yu/Liu (NPC). A filmmaker Mirage met during her time in Tokyo. Known for her sharp wit and raw, emotional storytelling, she became a mentor who taught Mirage to see the beauty in the everyday.
4 Ritsu Miura Hasegawa/Sketch. Photographer, Flatmate. A Tokyo-based photographer Mirage met at a bar in 2023. Quiet and introspective, he became one of her closest collaborators and friends, capturing raw, vulnerable moments through his lens. He later on moved to the Philippines for his master’s at UPD and ended up sharing a 3BR condo with Mirage near campus.
4 Antheiope Rousel Razervajk. Childhood friend, Teammate. A childhood friend from Cebu who first taught Midge how to play volleyball, inspiring her love for the sport. Now teammates on the Creamline Cool Smashers, Antheiope remains someone Midge looks up to for her discipline and unwavering drive.
